Gdansk & Baltic Sea Holidays with Exeter International

Gdansk, Gdynia and Sopot form the so called Tricity. Gdansk is the architectural gem with Medieval, Renaissance and Gothic styles with German, Dutch and Flemish touches, incredible to think that this gorgeous town suffered almost as much damage as Warsaw during WWII and 90percent of it has been reconstructed. Perhaps now most famous for Lech Walesa’s Solidarity movement of the 1980s - and in your min’d eye a heavy industrial port, this could not be further from the truth.

Gdansk is a vibrant, prosperous city. Gdynia does not have much to recommend, being a more industrial town, however Sopot is the Polish Riviera with a very lively nightlife. It is very easy to get around in each city and all three cities are well connected to each other with local transport. We would recommend you go in the summer months - you can choose to stay in Gdansk or Sopot as they are only 10 miles away from each other.
