Cultural Landmark in St Petersburg for over 130 Years
This St Petersburg hotel was built in 1875 and has recently been totally renovated by it’s new owners, Orient Express Hotels. There are four restaurants - one of which, the Europe Restaurant, is famed for it’s sumptuous Sunday Brunch, a bar and caviar bar.
Classic Standard Rooms Face the quiet, inner courtyard of the hotel. Please note that the courtyard is internal. These rooms have King, queen or twin beds.
Classic Superior Rooms With views of Nevsky Prospect, Mikhailovskaya Street and the Philharmonic Hall. These rooms have a King, Queen or Twin Beds.
Classic Deluxe Rooms Similar to the classic with the only difference being the view, which is of Arts Square and the Russian Museum. Rooms right on the corner have views of the onion domed Church of the Ressurection (often known as the Church of the Spilled Blood).
Classic Historic Rooms The same size and view as the classic deluxe, however they have historical architectural features which have been retained. These rooms include the service of a dedicated butler.
Terrace Rooms Located on the fifth floor overlooking the St Petersburg skyline, the terrace rooms were all completely refurbished in 2009 and have beautiful terraces, which are very popular in the summer months.
Belle Chambres Equivalent to a junior suite there are large rooms with a large seating area. Parquet floors, rugs, and high ceilings give these rooms plenty of charm. Connect to Superior Rooms. Also avialable in Historic category.
